    Hi,

So I have my left split "down" if my hips are off, but for the life of me I cannot square my hips, and I am not exactly sure how to know if they are? As you can see, when I do square them there's a gap between me and the floor. I'm looking for any tips / stretch sequences / whatever to help!

    Thanks guys

You seem to be deficient in your hip flexors and are depending too much on hamstring flexibility for the splits.
    Tips that will help:
-During lunges lift up one arm at a time and push down on the back hip flexor to help release it.
    - Do oversplits but with the front knee resting on the surface instead of the foot. Keep your torso up and push down on the back leg to feel a stretch.
    - In the splits try to pull in the stomach as if you are trying to and bend back as the will force the the stretch more off the hamstrings and more onto the hip flexors and ensure a more square split.
    Hope this helps! :)
