Training style advice please!

    I'm working through some old injuries and have decided to sign up for a couple adult classes to help me get to where I need to be in terms of skill and general fitness. I was initially looking at getting back into gymnastics but then had someone mention to me that there was a circus group in town who ran contortion flexibility classes.

    I can't afford to run both simultaneously but I'm wondering if anyone has any input on which might be a better place to start. I love the idea of getting back on the rings and bars in the gym but I'm not sure if I should spend the time really pushing my flexibility first, or do that once I've laid down more of a movement base.

    If anyone has dabbled in both I'd love to hear from you :)
