unassisted knees to chest?

    I'd like to improve my ROM when drawing my knees up to my chest when I'm lying flat on my back. I can use my hands to pull my knees up, but my ROM is very limited when I try to do it just using my core and leg muscles. Any suggestions for how to improve this?

    Active Flexibility. Do kicks ( I do a 15 second hold after my last kick to strengthen it even more) and what ever other leg exercises you know.
